Demographic Transition Model

 

Using the Wikipedia page and the other links, complete a study of the Demographic Transition Model.

Each group will be responsible for one Stage of the model. The whole model will then be 'put together'.

In your stage include the following information.

• Name of Stage
• BR line (in blue)
• DR line (in red)
• Examples of countries currently at this Stage
• Approximate dates when the UK was at this Stage
• BR status (high / low etc.) and why
• DR status and why
• Natural increase status
• Sketch a copy of the population pyramid for a country at this Stage
